Welcome to Dream Light ABA LLC
Where we are dedicated to empowering individuals through personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
About Dream Light ABA LLC
Dream Light ABA LLC was founded on a personal journey and a powerful mission: to bring compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy to children and young adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
The company was established by Yelitza Cotts, MS, BCBA, a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst whose passion for Applied Behavior Analysis began with her own child’s journey. Yelitza experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of ABA therapy and was inspired to bring that same support to other families. Her personal experience fuels Dream Light ABA’s purpose: to empower every client and family with the tools, strategies, and support they need to thrive.
Getting Started with ABA Therapy
Understanding the Intake Process at Dream Light ABA, we are committed to guiding you every step of the way as you begin your child’s ABA therapy journey. It’s important to understand that obtaining ABA services is a structured, multi-step process that involves collaboration between your family, our clinical team, and your insurance provider. While timelines can vary slightly depending on individual circumstances, the full intake process generally takes 4 to 6 weeks from the time we receive your completed Request for Services Form along with all required documentation.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure your child receives the care and support they deserve.

Submit the Request for Services Form
This form collects important information about your child and your family, including:
◦ Insurance details
◦ Diagnostic report (e.g., CDE)
◦ ABA referral
◦ Any additional medical or educational records

Insurance Verification
Our intake team will review all documentation and verify your insurance benefits. If anything is missing or clarification is needed, we will contact you promptly.

Authorization Request
Once documentation is complete and benefits are confirmed, we will submit a request to your insurance provider for an initial ABA assessment authorization. This step typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on the insurer.

Initial ABA Assessment
Once authorization is approved, we will schedule an assessment with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This includes direct observation of your child and an interview with caregivers to gather relevant information about behaviors, routines, and goals.

Development of the Individualized Behavior Plan (IBP)
After the assessment, the BCBA will develop a customized treatment plan based on your child’s unique needs. This process generally takes 1–2 weeks, including time for you to review and sign the plan.

Submit IBP for Final Insurance Approval
Once signed, the IBP is submitted to your insurance provider for final treatment authorization. Approval can take another 1–2 weeks.

Start ABA Therapy!
After receiving final approval, our team will coordinate with you to schedule therapy sessions and introduce your assigned RBT and supervising BCBA. Services will officially begin at this stage.

Ms. Yelitza and her entire team have been nothing short of amazing! After coming to Dreamlight from another ABA company where we felt our son’s needs weren’t being met, Ms. Yelitza took the time to truly understand him and worked hard to find the perfect RBT to work alongside her. My husband and I noticed a major difference in our son within just ONE week! We finally feel that he is truly seen, understood, supported, and cared for. We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Yelitza and her team for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to our son. We couldn’t be more thankful to have found Dreamlight! ❤️![]()

After struggling with anxiety around being in a clinic setting away from me, Rowan had a really hard time transitioning into ABA services, and I honestly wasn’t sure how he would adjust. Walking into Dream Light ABA changed everything. From the very beginning, Yelitza and her team met Rowan exactly where he was. During his first few days, his anxiety showed in ways we hadn’t seen before. Instead of giving up on him or labeling his behaviors, they called us in, worked with us as a team, and came up with a plan that put Rowan first. They even spent weeks doing therapy in our home to build trust before expecting him to return to the clinic. That level of compassion and individualized care meant the world to our family. Today, Rowan absolutely loves going to therapy. His RBT has become one of his favorite people, and for the first time, I truly feel like the people caring for my son love him like he’s one of their own. What sets Dream Light apart is that they don’t just see a diagnosis, they see a child with endless potential. They presume competence, celebrate every milestone, and work together with his speech therapist and occupational therapist to help him succeed. Everyone communicates, collaborates, and genuinely wants what’s best for Rowan. They also make therapy feel like childhood should feel, joyful and exciting. The kids get to enjoy special water days that make learning feel like play, and the team goes all out for holidays with themed activities, decorations, and celebrations that make every child feel included and special. The clinic itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed with large classrooms, sensory spaces, and outdoor play areas that make learning fun. But more importantly, it’s a place where children are safe, respected, and loved. The progress Rowan has made since coming to Dream Light has been incredible. He’s more confident, happier, and continues to surprise us with what he’s capable of. As an autism mom, there is no greater feeling than dropping your child off somewhere knowing they are safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. If you’re looking for an ABA clinic that leads with compassion, values each child as an individual, and truly partners with families, I cannot recommend Dream Light ABA enough. They gave our family hope again, and for that, I will always be grateful.![]()

I am beyond grateful for Yelitza and her incredible team. They consistently go above and beyond to provide the best care and services for my son. It is truly rare to find people who love and care for your child as if they were a member of their own family, and that is exactly what we found here. Yelitza is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about the work she does with children on the spectrum. She has been a strong advocate for both me and my son, especially during his time in the public school system. She attended meetings, spoke up on our behalf, and worked tirelessly to help improve my son’s overall school experience. Today, my son is a full-time part of DreamLight and is thriving in their homeschool program. The growth we’ve seen is incredible. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company — this family — to anyone looking for exceptional ABA services and genuine care.![]()

Finding Dream Light ABA has truly been a blessing for our family. From the very beginning, when we called to request a consultation, the owner Yelitza went above and beyond to explain the entire process in detail and provided us with resources we had never even heard of. She took the time to help us get our child started with ABA therapy quickly, understanding the urgency of our situation as our son was experiencing significant behavioral regression. Finding a company that would accept our 16 year old was incredibly difficult most agencies either did not accept teens or had extremely long waiting lists. Within just five weeks, Yelitza had everything in place and therapy services began. From the first day RBT Mariangel came to our home, our son formed an immediate and meaningful connection with her. Their bond has grown into something truly special. We have witnessed a transformation we never thought possible our son has become more confident, calm, and happy than we’ve ever seen him. The progress has been remarkable. Behaviors that were once overwhelming have significantly decreased, and our home life feels balanced again. We are beyond grateful to Dream Light ABA for giving our child and our family hope and support during such a critical time.![]()

Since starting at Dream Light ABA in March, our 2½-year-old son Vinny has made incredible progress. When he began, he was mostly babbling, but now he’s consistently using two- and three-word phrases, learning how to calm his body, improving his fine motor skills like using utensils, and using gestures and words to communicate. Watching his growth over just a few months has been truly amazing. His therapists have been so patient and caring every step of the way. Yelitza, the owner and BCBA, has gone above and beyond to make sure Vinny is getting everything he needs and more. It’s clear how much she truly cares about the kids and families she works with. What means the most to us is how genuinely happy Vinny is to go to the clinic. His face lights up the second he sees his therapists and his smile stretches from ear to ear! It’s clear he feels safe, supported, and loved. We’re so grateful for the entire team at Dream Light ABA. They’ve become a part of our extended family, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and dedication they give our son every day.
